Singapore- our hotel room + last day

We stayed at the Marina Bay Sands hotel and it was amazing! We were upgraded to the Orchid Suite on the 53rd floor which was MASSIVE for just me, mum and Riz. We were so lucky since this hotel's always fully booked cos it's relatively new.

My 50mm lens couldn't capture everything so check out their website to see it from floor to ceiling (ceiling height was 11 ft!!!).

First entertainment room with the garden view as you enter.

The walk-in closet.

Huge bathroom, complete with a tub and shower.

Shower to the left, water closet to the right.

Small dining area + pantry to the left

Bed with a swiveling TV

2nd entertainment area (with a king-sized sofa bed) to the left with the beautiful city view.

SO beautiful...

Goodnight.xx

The next morning I was greeted by really nice light shining through the floor-ceiling windows so I just had to camwhore.

Airport-friendly outfit.

I love my boyfriend jeans.

Missing the garden view.

And of course, the city view.

♥♥♥

Here's a very shaky video showing our room during our last night there... My voice was incredibly shrieky (I think it's always like that anyways). Again, the entire height couldn't fit in my small Flip camera's lens sooo I failed at panning on most parts. LOL.

I miss our hotel room! I miss Singapore! Can't wait to go back this April. Hope nothing destroys our plans... :)

Singapore- Feb14

Ion mall is so pretty! Smells really nice inside, too. They use fragrance marketing called ScentAir.

I went around on my own for a couple of hours since mum and Riz went back to Ukelele Movement at Little India.

Coffee beans and tea leaves on the chairs... Guess where I was killing time?

Our Filipino friend Ryan (who now works for Marina Bay Sands) said that on Sundays, Filipino maids come to this area to transform it into a... disco. We were both surprised that they were allowed to do this on a regular basis since Singapore's usually super strict about those types of things...

I tried to take photos of as much window displays since we're taking that up now in our workshop class... The creativity required to make different, eye-catching store fronts and visual merchandising is just.... UGH.

Prety pretty architecture.

Later that night, we were joined by some Filipino friends at the Fuse lounge. We ended up having some drinks and then Riz and I sang our medley!

Singapore- Universal Studios (part 2)

...continued from part 1.

Ah, no wonder Riz is always late...

Mum got too excited to camwhore around the Mummy part of Universal Studios.

This was the creepiest, BEST ride EVER!!! Riz and I were the only ones to enter the chamber which was a loooooong pathway going to the ride itself. It was poorly-lit, confusing, and the scary sound effects added to the creepiness. It felt like the pathway was never going to end! Until we saw the workers along the ride itself... They were giggling and I think they knew we were going to be scared of the ride.

I kept my eyes open the whole time but I admit that I wanted to close them at some parts (even if I'm the most adventurous when it comes to rides and I never get scared). I was thinking to myself, "OMG is this what hell is like?!?!" during the pitch-dark moments, Imhotehp chasing you and screaming "YOUR SOUL IS MINE!!!!". MY GOODNESS. I wanted to have a go at it again but Riz was crying/laughing the whole time and I didn't want to go in the chamber alone.

If you hate unexpected drops and scary things, don't go on the Mummy ride. :))

Mini New York. Awwwwww :(

the Godfather. An all-time fave. Part 2 was the best. The last one was the worst.

Outside Universal Studios was Resorts World... It was crowded just like the one we have here in Manila...

Went to Toast Box after. I just had something to drink...

Mom's.
