Health Food

Growing up as a very sickly kid, it was inevitable for me to be forced into a healthy lifestyle. My mother was the one who influenced me into taking supplements and I eventually had to start exercising by the time I was in 5th grade. It was in high school when I got into dance, and I delved into more athletic forms of physical activity after that.

BoConcept 60th Anniversary Launch

Last September 18 I was invited to the 60th anniversary celebration of international retailer BoConcept at their flagship store located in High Street. Their new collection had a playful and vintage feel that showcased fabrics designed in the 50's by renowned Danish textile designer and weaver, Vibeke Klint. I really enjoyed the tour and I'm glad that they allowed me to take photos so I could show the beautiful pieces with all of you!

I actually visit this store quite often, but I wanted to snap photos of the other displays on the 2nd and 3rd floor (Vitra + Natuzzi)  for you guys...

I want one of these in the not-so-distant future... Imagine a huge white room with floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides revealing the greenery, and this piece in the middle + possibly black Parrot Zikmu speakers beside it. Perfect for meditating (or writing) on Sunday mornings. I am quite the minimalist when it comes to my me time... This room has to be empty and expansive enough for me to hear the echoes of someone's clothes brushing against each other when walking towards the middle (no carpets and paddings on the walls).

What do I wear to LIV?

I had previously written about being one of the ambassadors for the UP Economic Society's month-long chain of events to celebrate their anniversary. I LIV for design & music, and the rest of the ambassadors represent the different fields of fashion, photography, performance arts, design and dance.

The main event will take place at a big field and aside from the music and drinks we're supposed to be bringing a few other things...

Preppy

What I wore during the blessing of my new flat + a gig at High Street
Topshop silk drawstring shorts, sweater + tank top combo = instant bedtime garb the moment I take off those (Zara) boots

[if you're wondering about the quality of these photos- these were taken by my iPhone & uploaded on 3G. My internet line still hasn't been fixed. Globe, por favorrrrr!]

I hastily bought a pair of Celine sunglasses the moment I found out that our stores just started carrying the brand. I originally wanted to go for the classic Audreys, but the Preppy caught my attention. It's shorter and the cut on the bridge is a bit more modern. I wanted to get these oversized gold ones that the salesladies kept forcing me to purchase but the Preppy's lenses were polarized so that was the deciding factor. I also put up a poll on Twitter and Instagram while taking forever to decide. Thank you to those who responded right away!

I want to be able to divulge more about my life here but there really isn't anything interesting happening as of late and I am planning to keep it like that until October. I am looking forward to more nights in, studying and channeling my energy on projects, and getting my internet fixed. I am about to go mental, you guys! Plus I just can't force myself to edit in coffee shops. It's discomfiting to know that someone might be observing your routine. I am oversuspicious like that.

Slightly excited to write about something more interesting tomorrow... I am cheating on this blog by posting too much on Instagram and Tadaa. Whoops.
