Bloggers United 6- giving away 10 tickets!

When a group of top fashion bloggers unite for the country’s grandest holiday bazaar, one can expect nothing but a shopping experience that is more fun, engaging, and personal, as evidenced by the recent successes of blogger bazaars in the country.

This year, the 13th World Bazaar Festival (WBF), running from December 6 to 22 at the World Trade Center and undoubtedly, the country’s biggest and most- awaited Christmas charity shopping event, proves this true as it once again partners with “Bloggers United 6,” a team that showcases the country’s top entrepreneur bloggers, on December 7 at the World Trade Center (WTC) in Pasay City.

The event, which will occupy the second floor of WTC, will serve as the 6th official installment of Bloggers United and will feature fashion royalties in the blogosphere, including the likes of Divine Lee, Camille Co, Laureen Uy, Kryz Uy, Maggie Wilson and Dani Barretto, among others.

Founded in 2011, Bloggers United has continuously influenced the online Filipino community through its efforts of promoting beauty, fashion, and style through a series of bloggers bazaar in Metro Manila.

With its recent collaboration with World Bazaar Festival, “Bloggers United” is expected to gain bigger audience and market share, while giving back to the community, as part of the proceeds of WBF will be donated to ABS-CBN Foundation, Inc.

This is officially my new favorite blazer from Zara. And I'm proud to say that I survived in those shoes the entire day! It was the last pair from Topshop and I'm glad I didn't need to change into flats like the other bloggers. And oh, excuse my awkward hairdo. I took a risk and blow-dried it that morning (my first time to style my hair, ever!) but the heat inside the hall totally killed it. And can you believe that I used a tiny comb (the ones that guys use) with the blowdrier? Someone buy me a real hairbrush ASAP.

the 3rd Bloggers United Bazaar

Bloggers United Strikes Three!

Third time’s the charm for the most anticipated fashion bloggers event in the country!

Bloggers United is staging their third bloggers bazaar this June 2 at the Grandview Events Place to once again gather Manila’s top fashion bloggers in one single venue outside of the World Wide Web. After holding two successful events last year, Bloggers United has easily become one of the most anticipated affairs for both fashion bloggers and readers in the metro.  More than just a bazaar, Bloggers United also partners with charitable groups to use and channel their influence in a positive manner.

Through the overwhelming power of social media and blogs in today's generation, the previous Bloggers United events have successfully joined forces with top fashion bloggers like Laureen Uy, Camille Co, Kryz Uy and many more to inspire their followers and to raise funds for various beneficiaries,  namely KIDS Foundation and GMA Kapuso Foundation. This time around, the event will benefit Operation Smile Philippines.

The event gets better and better every time! To make Bloggers United 3 even more momentous, top Indonesian fashion blogger Anastacia Siantar of The Brown Platform will also be selling alongside Cebu fashion bloggers and our very own top celebrities Divine Lee & Sarah Meier.

So, if you love blog-reading and blog-hopping, Bloggers United is sure to be the perfect end-of-summer bazaar for you. Not only will you be able to bump elbows with your favorite bloggers at the event, but you will also be able to snag some of their own stylish statement pieces as they open their closets to sell to the public. Stay-up-to-date with the biggest gathering of bloggers by following us on Twitter (twitter.com/bloggers_united) and Facebook (facebook.com/bloggersunitedph), and bookmarking our official webpage (bloggersunited.org).

livetattoo.ph launch in Boracay

I was invited by Globe Tattoo along with other Filipino bloggers to the launching of the LiveTattoo.ph site at Boracay.

I knew my parents weren't going to allow me to travel with people they didn't know so I told them the week before the trip just so they couldn't say no, with the tickets and hotel reservations all paid for and ready. Thankfully they didn't get angry and they even gave me the numbers of important people on the island just so I could contact them in case I got into trouble (haha). I guess they figured I was getting really old & they had to start allowing me to go out of town without chaperones. Yes, I am too sheltered like that.

I saw a couple of friends, made new friends and finally experienced the night life in Boracay. My previous visits weren't centered around partying since it was mostly with the family and I didn't really get into that until college.

So glad I got to party and visit the island again this year, all thanks to Globe Tattoo.

First we had dinner at Epic...

November 26- a shoot + thanksgiving

After arriving from my trip I immediately had to pull-out my outfits at MANGO (Rockwell) for our photo shoot...

Lunch- a delicious (and pretty) greek salad at Cafe Mediterranean...
Nothing like taking photos of your food to add to the awkwardness of eating alone.

A teaser from our shoot for MANGO yesterday...

the second BLOGGERS UNITED bazaar- CONTEST CLOSED!

The first one was a total success and I can't wait for the next one!

Love this video!
(And it makes me miss my short hair even more)

I am sharing a booth with blogger and PSID batchmate Aivan this year! (See the list of participating bloggers HERE.)
My sister and I (Walkie Talkies) will also be performing and I am selling Skinny Sweets at my booth aside from the usual clothes/shoes/accessories!

Manila’s finest fashion bloggers will leave their laptops at home once again to attend BLOGGERS UNITED BAZAAR (Part 2) on December 3, 2011 at Treston International College, Taguig, this coming holiday season.

It is the second installment of the first-ever BloggersUnited: An Interactive Shopping Affair, which was held last May. Due to insistent demand from readers and bloggers alike, Bloggers United team in partnership with the country’s largest online shopping website, Multiply Philippines have gathered Manila’s fashion bloggers to sell their pre-loved but very stylish closet pieces!

This event is the perfect opportunity for both bloggers and their adoring readers to mingle and personally interact with each other. Fun contests and exciting giveaways from sponsors and entertaining performances from bloggers (Walkie Talkies, Reese & Vica) themselves will definitely keep this event from being a dull one.

Some of the notable bloggers attending the event include Divine Lee, Laureen Uy, Kookie Buhain, Lissa Kahayaon, David Guison, Karl Leuterio, Patricia Prieto and Preview Magazine’s own Daryl and Andre Chang.

But because Bloggers United wishes to go beyond the geographic limitations of the archipelago and extend its reach beyond Metro Manila and so for this event, they are flying in some of Cebu’s very own fashion bloggers which include Kryz Uy, Eden Villarba, designer Yves Camingue, Gillian Uang and Mildred Zapanta and a few more.

Part of the proceeds from this event will go to the GMA Kapuso Foundation for its school building project, a small but significant step to improve the Filipino youth’s access to education.

The organizers behind BLOGGERS UNITED BAZAAR (PART 2) are Ana Gonzales, Melai Entuna and Aisa Ipac,  a team of blogger friends encouraging camaraderie and sense of “community” among Manila’s (and eventually, the country’s) fashion blogging community through events and productions like this.

This is a one-day-only event that you shouldn’t really miss! It will be in a bigger venue with twice more the number of participating bloggers to meet! This is the perfect shopping day this Christmas because the most affordable and most fashionable clothes, accessories and footwear will be up for grabs. See you!

Bloggers United!

Shared a booth with Kryz. We didn't even plan for this event... Well with the amount of clothes we had, there was no space left for artsy decorations :)

Kryz had so much to sell! 50% of that mat's hers and the right side is mine... As for the rack, she took up 70% of it while I had the rest for some of my dresses. We both didn't expect for the turnout to be that good so we both regret not bringing in a lot more old clothes! Well, ingress & egress would've been another problem...

Cams was our neighbor!

Tricia was with her group, Gondo Girls

her outfit was so cute!

Laureen's Andre Chang booties for sale (too bad we don't have the same shoe size!)

We had to leave our booth during lunchtime so THAT was what I made to let people know it was our booth! Kryz and I were laughing about it the whole time. Yes, we both come from design schools. Oh, and the paper I used was the backing from the labels/sticky tags for pricing. Markers borrowed from Domz. :))

Had lunch with Cams, Laur and Kryz at Chelsea!

Camille's

And the rest of us had my favorite sandwich of all time- the organic roasted vegetable salad!

Yummy!

By the time we went back to the bazaar, Steph was there!

Hey, rocket girl! LOL. It's Reg!

A lot of people had feathers on that day, so one person even had to ask if it was actually a trend! The owner of Maris also came up to our booth that day. She was the one who gave Kryz and I our first pairs of feathered earrings! Thanks again :)

Me with Kookie... The dynamic art filter on my Lumix is so cute, it made our cheeks so pink :)

My outfit... Took me 5 minutes to get dressed so naturally, I ended up hating myself when I got to the bazaar! I looked so BOXY that day... Oh well! The goal was to be in comfy clothes since I knew I was going to get harassed by all the selling and fixing of our clothes.

Dress from Cotton On, boots and denim polo from Zara, 2 earrings (mismatched) from Topshop

The girls of Sophie's Mom are so young! They had the best frozen mochi and nutella mochi! If you don't know what mochi is (just like Kryz who had them for the first time that day), you're missing out!

And here's their super cutesy booth (Sophie's Mom)

Vern's skirt had a cute ribbon at the back

Danah and Stacy of the Plump Pinay

This girl was so adorable and shy! Her mum was shopping around the place and she was just tailing around her. She only smiled and waved at me when she heard me sing on stage. Yay :)

Barbie colors! Kryz and I adored her hot pink blazer, which she got from a thrift store. I have yet to teach Kryz to go thrifting-- she's never been!

Bloggers United was a success! Earned quite a sum from selling clothes I've decided to finally part with (I'm a pack rat and hoarder when it comes to clothes). Thankfully there's another one coming. I have a couple of things I still want to let go of... My mom's kind enough to finally allow me to extend my closet. I've been living off a 1.2 meter-wide closet since I've moved here and I kid you not, my guy friends have bigger closets than I do! So now that I'm going to have a bit more room to arrange my clothes nicely, I'm happy that I was able to let go of some...

I know Kryz and the other girls can't wait for the next bazaar as well. Melai, Pax and Ana intended for it to be low-key since it was their first, but the turnout was so great. We didn't know people would actually go all out to buy from us since the location wasn't that accessible (32nd floor of the Malayan Plaza, right across the Podium at Ortigas). Plus I saw a lot of tweets that so many wanted to go but couldn't.

It's always nice to meet some of my readers! I had fun chatting with some of them. Actually, the entire experience was great! The other bloggers and I had the whole day to take photos with each other, catch up, chill or even dougie to the music (special mention- Laureen). And of course, Riz and I are thankful that we got to play that night. Thank you to those who think our noise is music! Really touched with the amazing comments (and tweets) we got. That was the first time that my bloggity friends got to hear us.

Many thanks to Kat for dropping by, and for heading back a few hours after to see our set and take photos!
